About Hammersmith Islamic Association

Hammersmith Islamic Association (HIA) is a registered charity (No. 1154604) that is active in the Muslim community of West London. We have been striving for the noble cause to establish an Islamic Centre in Hammersmith.

Our mission is to serve the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Muslim community in Hammersmith and the surrounding areas of West London.

Despite London's large Muslim population, there is no Masjid in Hammersmith. The nearest Masjids are in Shepherds Bush and Parsons Green. We believe that a dedicated Islamic Centre in Hammersmith would greatly benefit the local community.

We currently hold Friday congregational prayers (Jummah) at the Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House and are working towards securing permanent premises for a full range of community services.
